We are here to help you learn to speak English. You will be paired with a tutor and you will have private reading sessions. Your tutor will work with you for 2 hours every week. Your tutor will teach you to speak and understand English and to reach your goals.

LVCC provides 2 hours per week of free, confidential and one-on-one tutoring in either basic literacy or English as a Second Language (ESOL). Tutor and student pairs make their own schedules and meet at the library or any other mutually convenient public place in Camden County. A potential student must be over age 18, cannot be enrolled in school or any other literacy program and must be able to make a regular commitment to tutoring.
